How does the law of attraction work? Consciousness and unconsciousness

Updated: Nov 30, 2022

Most have heard of the "Law of Attraction" according to the Secret by Rhonda Byrne. You send your orders out into the universe, and, simply put, you get them because you wish. This seems rather short-sighted to me because if it were that simple, there would be no problems in the world and everything would run smoothly. There is no universe that you ask things of because ultimately you are the universe: a part of your programmed subconscious.

Should you be able to change or modify this subconscious program, you will see that it does have consequences. So how do you do this, you ask?

There are a few tips & tricks I can suggest in this way.

First, figure out what you really want in this life. After all, the meaning of life is the content you give it. What do you like to do when it comes to working, who or what person would you have by your side, etc? You do not think primarily of money or other material things, but dive into your feeling world and search there.

Create a new reality through visualization. See for yourself what that reality would be like in the world and environment in which you now live. It doesn't matter if it is attainable or not. It is best to do this when your brain frequency is low, just before bed, in your bed for example. The lower the frequency the better. That's how hypnotists work by the way. You can also use hypnosis through a professional to reprogram your subconscious. You can use effective affirmations to tell your subconscious what you want. See your new reality in front of you every day, think about it, and see it. You can make a vision board with items of the things you want. (Remember: figure out what you want first, see above). Write a journal about the things you want and how you think about them. know that your subconscious can read 5000 words in seconds.

The subconscious is your boss and controls how you think, act, and feel. You only use 5% of your brain to be aware, think, and act. Your subconscious is like a thermostat. These are programmed settings that you always fall back on. Unconsciously you fall back on your beliefs and your self-image. It's programmed self-protection about what you know, have been given, and have already evaluated many times. It's the past external influences from our childhood about people we looked up to. But you have to be aware that that data is now expired, and that we need a new upload to function in a world and environment that we want 'now'.

That 5% we use consciously can redirect the 95% to a new purpose in our lives.

Figure out what you want

If you don't know what you want, you're going to have a hard time achieving your goal. If you focus on too many things, you're not going to get there either. Your subconscious follows a program, remember. It comes down to telling your subconscious where you want to go, and what your big dream is.

Visualization

This technique feeds your subconscious into your plans. Visualizing has several advantages; it also allows you to find out what you are really looking for, and what you want to do. Be the leader of your thoughts by envisioning images of your goals.

Hypnosis

Through hypnosis, you can deliver suggestions in theta or delta frequency to your subconscious. There is nothing wrong with that, as long as you know the right person who can do that with you. You can do the theta frequency yourself through self-hypnosis. Those are the moments just before you fall asleep, the twilight zone as it were.

Affirmations

You can talk to your subconscious, yes. If you say clearly what you want, and you repeat it enough, it will come in. Speak to yourself in the present tense and make sure it is always positive. Don't ask for what you don't want, because the universe doesn't know the word "not, never, no." For example, if you say you don't want a partner like that, you will get the partner you don't want. So be positive outwardly. Don't make a story out of it, be short and specific. Use strong words and do this every day. Also say them out loud, that works better than mentally running the words through your mind.

Vision Board

Set aside a place in your home that you frequent. That can be your toilet, your bathroom (which is interesting, because then you are still in your theta frequency, even at night when you are tired), or your kitchen for example. Stick pictures of your wishes, and your goals on it. Look at it every day and visualize it again, very briefly. Those visions will gradually be considered as beliefs by your subconscious and that is how they will manifest.

Journal

Write down your thoughts, wishes, goals, and emotions. You can go back each time to what you have written for it. This will keep you focused and you can reflect on what went through your mind at the time. Writing is a strong outlet that unconsciously releases old recipes and puts new ones in their place.
